The EFNS is an organisation that unites and supports neurologists across the whole of Europe. It was founded in December 1991 in Vienna, Austria. Currently, 40 European national neurological societies are registered members of the EFNS. Thus the EFNS represents more than 12.000 European neurologists.
Étape du Tour Mondovélo
For the second year running, the Etape du Tour will be in the Pyrenees mountains on Sunday 6th July. The Etape is taken from Stage 10 of the TDF. The 165km route will see 8000+ riders departing Pau, climbing the Tourmalet from the East side to descend to Argeles Gazost and then finish at the mountain summit of the Hautacam.
What is Epilepsy?

Epilepsy is a controllable condition caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain resulting in temporary seizures. It is not a disease! Epilepsy is actually an umbrella term covering about twenty different types of seizure disorders.
To understand epilepsy, we must briefly outline how the brain functions normally.
