octobre 5 at the start of the Tournefeuill half marathon a friend I run with introduced me to a friend of his and said hey, you two should run together, youre both the same level and you'll keep eachother from accelerating. I had run a 1h28 and this guy wanted to run a 1h26...still unsure of where i could go with this i said ok and if youre too fast youre on your own! So, off we went, looking at our watches every km and we stayed right with in our forecasted time both running to a pr of 1h25. Nice day!
Last little jaunt before the Toulouse marathon was sunday oct 19, the albi duathlon. a 5kms run through the streets of historic Albi, a gorgeous hilly ride through the country side and 5 more kms to run. Under orders to go easy on my body before the marathon I had a great day all the same, winning the women's event and placing 15th in the mens.
