Much to my dismay I could only fly in to Taz for a lunch conference and then fly out the same day so I didn't see a whole lot of the gorgeous scenery I've heard so much about. I did, however meet some very active people all ready and willing to overcome the myths surrounding epilepsy. I also met a Elle, a 6 year old with epilepsy who's very motivated to be a future soccer star!
From Taz it was back to Melbourne for the ride4epilepsy where I was in extremely good company all day long, riding over 200 kms with a stop or two and in the Melbourne sunshine!
After the ride it was on to Perth where I recorded two interviews on local radio spoke to the local epilepsy foundation and met the lord mayor of Perth who depsite her busy scheduel found some time to meet with us.
And on september 29 I flew home to Toulouse where I'm now getting ready to run 20kms in Paris on Oct 9th with a team of 71 people-5 who have epilepsy and the rest in support! All funds will go to research on the brain.
More to come! catch up soon and thanks for reading.
