Passageoise

April 20th....

quite a week it's been! started monday by riding 50kms in absolutely torrential rains and hail with credit ag russian pro Alexandre Botcharov, Cofifids' Marian Henry, some really strong locals from Pau and recently retired Chrsitophe Agnolutto who is now running training camps! Tuesday we rode up the col de Marie Blanque in splendid weather-hope to have photos soon! Wednsday I opted for a fast 13kms run and thursday for the couch! All in a good weeks program. Add to that specific trainer work on friday, another run saturday and today a cyclosportif called the Passageoise-135kms with some truly lactic climbs. We averaged 38kph and climbed 1375m.... Made the front group with the boys and had an ok day though I wasnt feeling very competitive..next week will be the traverser des Barronnies which are the foothills of the pyrenees-a very demanding course! From there back to the racing scene with a road race, a trail running race and a duathlon.....
