Mountain bike challenge #3 Cologne

RACE 3 February 3rd-COLOGNE-in the wild west of Le Gers we had 30kms of trail, fields, some nice single downhillish sections in the woods and guess what? It was fairly dry! I woke up thursday with fever and bronchitis so I slept all day thursday and friday and Philippe my partner dragged me out for a 50kms road ride saturday early evening to try and put some snap back in my system....I had intended to wake up early saturday to join a morning ride but just couldnt get up....a rarity for me but my system is out of wack so had to listen....a round of antibiotics and hopefully ill be back in action. Sunday I hacked and snorted and did all I could to finish and glad I was to cross the line! A few more days of rest and hope to be back in form!!! finished 3rd overall and hope to be back in bigger,better, and badder form soon!
